Colonel, not the oak leaf as it is most commonly referred to. It is also known as the "Vine Maple" because it tends to grow under tall trees of oak and Douglas fir, thus causing it to climb. Will grow into a neat shrub in full sun.

One of the most beautiful paper leafed maples with golden yellow orbicular leaf darkening slightly when mature. This is another of the slow growing trees but well worth the wait.
