GLEN DEL
A variegated leaf with red or irregular shaped leaves. Slow grower and does need some shade protection.

HIDDEN VALLEY
Has an orbicular leaf and is native to the West Coast. The leaf is roundish and green. This is the leaf used in the Military for rank of Major and Lt. Colonel, not the oak leaf as it is most commonly referred to. It is also known as the "Vine Maple" because it tends to grow under tall trees of oak and Douglas fir, thus causing it to climb. Will grow into a neat shrub in full sun.

LITTLE GEM
A very dwarf version of the vine maple. In the spring new growth is darkish red maturing to light shades of green. Very dwarf, good for alpine and rock gradens. Has a mounding habit.

ACONITAFOLIUM
Same as Filicifolium (Maiku Jaku, The Dancing Peacok). A large leaf dissectum forming an upright spreading tree. Has dissected leaves edged in red. One of the brightest red fall colors, which all of the Japonicums are noted for.

Dissected leaf, slightly smaller than the Acer Filicifolium Aconitafolium "MAIKU JAKU". Deep green with good substance and texture. A good tree for the landscape.

One of the most beautiful paper leafed maples with golden yellow orbicular leaf darkening slightly when mature. This is another of the slow growing trees but well worth the wait. During the summer the leaves have red margins which slowly turns the whole leaf red in the fall. This one needs protection from the sun.
